Hello everyone - My name is Michael and I am the founder of Bywire.news.

Tell us how you found out about eden?

I have been following Eden since its inception and I have been part of the EOS community since the beginning. I interviewed Dan at B1 June in 2019, so I have always followed his projects, so that is how I heard about Eden.

I also read Dan’s book and I love the concepts/theories. We are going to integrate the fractal voting system into our executive council at Bywire.

What is it about the community’s vision/values/ideas that attracted you?

I come from a political background, working on many elections in the UK, including the world’s largest decentralisation project (Brexit). I started Bywire because the media, cooped by big corporations and billionaires have made democracy undemocratic. I have wanted to redefine how society, governance and community could work, but I didn’t have the capabilities of Dan. Thankfully, Dan did all the hard work, so now we get to test, develop and improve these theories. This is literally the most exciting project in the world, and I can’t believe I get the chance to join at such an early stage!

I am very interested in how we can balance democratic outcomes. How democracy can be that of equals, and how leaders can be safely chosen, with the correct safeguards for ascension.

I want to help build a new world. The old one needs a hard fork.

Why do you want to become a member?

I think my company and I can add significant value to the community. I also want to help shape the new vision for how census can be achieved and maintained.

I also am keen to find a whole community of like minded people who can share in this project, and see what we come up with.

In what way do you see yourself contributing to the community?

We are a decentralised news organisation, who previously worked on national elections, PR, digital marketing and professional video production. (Our head of video has worked on the Crown, Peaky Blinders, Black Mirror etc). Our dev team is proficit in blockchain, AI, front-end, UI/EX, professional design, SEO, content creation, WordPress plugin > blockchain integration, Angular, React, Python, and community development. Also some leadership from me.

We see ourselves as being part of the media revolution, because the media plays a critical role in knowledge dissemination. Why not take these same voting mechanisms and governing models proposed for Eden and use them to safeguard how news is reported, how our network and company is managed and run and help set a new content standard.

Eden could help redefine not just governance, but also communications, and one of the gravest threats to our society is the breakdown of our shared language. Politicians, journalists, pundits, commentators; they all play a part in destroying the meaning of words, of language, and they do so for short term political and financial gains. It is frankly sickening

If you were to become an elected Eden Genesis representative with a budget, how would you spend that budget?

We would hire more reporters to cover the Eden community, EOS, Blockchains and crypto in more depth, and with a unique storytelling angle. We would also offer rewards/remuneration for citizen journalists.

I would be up for running for election and testing out the voting systems.

Summary of what we do:

Bywire is a decentralised news network that is the home to the very best independent news publishers. Offering the readers the convenience of a platform like Apple or Google News, yet differing with a clear and distinct, exclusive focus on independent news and a host of unique blockchain services such as resisting censorship, providing immutable accountability and transparency, and building trust through our unique AI, trust index (fake news detector).

In addition, Bywire offers a range of blockchain services via our unique EOS crypto token, Wirebit, including Reader rewards, democratic participation (coming soon), a universal basic income for all publishers, and the ability to exchange Wirebit or other tokens to boost content, giving it greater prominence in the Bywire news feed. (Coming soon.)

Readers and Publishers earn tokens for consuming content. The more tokens they earn, the greater their influence on the platform.

Bywire has developed a unique WordPress plugin, which is already in use today and that directly publishes WordPress content to the IPFS blockchain and a hash of the content to the EOS Public Blockchain. Content stored centrally is then verified with the EOSIO hash, if correct, the Reader is served a certification of verification.

We also are building tons and tons of other ground breaking tech!

I am a computer engineer , currently focusing defi… (Familiar with most public blockchains testing as well as an Angel Investor (helping small / solo devs blossom their ideas)

I am extremely excited to participate to the new gov model . Found some of the concept found in more equal animal compelling for a more fair society and governance that actually reflects its people. And let make happens first with EOS !

Hi everyone my name is Manolis Macropulos. I’m a creative director for a hospitality group and have been an EOS token holder since 2020. I’ve been all in on everything EOS brings to the table since I started looking into blockchain technology and crypto currencies. There is no community and blockchain like EOS. It has the means to change the world as we know it.

I found out about the Eden community by following the progress of the infamous Dan Larimer. From what I gathered, Dan has a vision for the EOS community and that vision needs to have a governance protocol that is adhered to and bought into by the entire community. A truly democratic system unlike the myriad of centralized blockchains in today’s world. I believe together as a community, we can achieve that vision. My friend Jesse Jaffe, a current Eden member has been an major influence as well and inspired me to join the community.

The thing that attracts me the most about the eden community’s vision/values/ideas is the simple premise that when working together, we can achieve great things. In order to create something truly remarkable in this world you need to have people that care, collaborate and think critically. The old there is no I in team is perfectly applicable to values of this community and I am beyond excited to join it and help wherever I can.

I would like to become a member because I believe in this common goal of becoming a decentralized, democratic, and transparent community. Every government you see in this world whether it be a blockchain or a country the process is never TRULY democratic and the power always lies in the hands of a very select few. I find it immensely interesting to help find a path towards something better the way it was intended to be.

Coming from a background of real estate and design I know that to build something you can’t do it on your own. I know how to work together on a project, a skill that is grossly undervalued as most people think they know better. I’m a problem solver at my very core and always work towards a solution rather than cower at a puzzling problem. I will do my best to bring those traits to the community.

I’ve been told I am a very humble person and those same people have advised me at some point in my life I should run for an election. I’m sure they meant something more along the lines of a traditional state or federal election, but what I’ve realized is this is the kind of community I’d want to participate in and help prosper. If given the chance to become a representative with allocation power, I’d look to empower developers to help create more projects that will help the world as a whole. It might not be as sexy as a squiggly line by some opensea NFT artist, but the work done in countries like Venezuela that struggle immensely with socialism and communism that cannot rely on their government to provide a stable currency is what gravitated me to this platform. Creating more opportunities for the world as a whole is far more fulfilling than creating fewer opportunities for the very rich.

I’ll introduce myself. My name is Alan Pelerin, I’m currently a financial consultant for different companies. I’ve been working on territorial security for NSS security shield for Qatar, different financial & insurance companies. I have discovered the blockchain in 2011 and have build since then few media brands in the blockchain ecosystem.

Tell us how you found out about eden?

I have participated in the EOS ico in 2017 and since then follow its development and ecosystem. I witnessed the birth of Eden few months ago and was glad to see the next step for blockchain coming to fruition. Since then, I have read more equal animals and assisted the two trial elections.

What is it about the community’s vision/values/ideas attracted you?

My young age combined with my liberty and freedom search brought me to bitcoin in 2011. I have seen the birth of Ethereum, the first ico and the competition for the world computer take place since then. I have always compared Ethereum with the IOS system exploitation and EOS with Android. Eden on EOS just confirmed my suspicion. This new way of gouvernance resonate with my value and hope for human collaboration.

Why do you want to become a member?

I’m already working hard on multiple fronts for the EOS ecosystem. Being part of the Eden community would allow me to be informed on the direction of eos and would increase my involvement in that process. What attracts me the most is being surrounded by great minds sharing my values and hopes.

In what way do you see yourself contributing to the community?

1- I have multiple competences in design, marketing, team building and product management.

2- I already have few media brands that could help the EOS ecosystem and Eden community

3- I have a small team of blockchain Investors ready to help for funding and assets building

4 - I’m currently work on a platform for educational content around developers and EOS-specific codes

If you were to become an elected Eden Genesis representative with a budget, how would you spend that budget?

I would spend it on three fronts:
-marketing and educational content for the newcomers to the EOS ecosystem

-educational content for developers

-tools building for helping the differents type of organisations use of the fractal democracy concept and governance (association, companies, institutions, etc)

Hello Everyone, I’m Andrés Pérez.

I’ve been following EOS steps since its ICO. I was immediately attracted to it, not only because of its great tech but also due to its governance system and democratic potential. Naturally, with time EdenEOS was born so I was quite excited about it.

I’ve become quite the romantic for True Democracy (TD) ever since I found out about blockchain back in 2016. I think Blockchain technology is one of the fastest ways humanity has to attain TD. I still have “More Equal Animals” ready to get read in by bookshelf !!

As a Data Scientist/Software Developer/“Philosopher Aficionado” I’d be glad to take part as member in the Community and help in someway or another.

Hey Everyone, I’m Dylan from BlokCrafters WAX guild.

I’ve been in the EOS space since ICO and I believe I was one of the first EOS content creators on YouTube. I found Eden through Dan or Everything EOS. I’d like to be a full time EOSIO employee at some point no matter what the position is. I was attracted to Eden because I believe our system is broken and Independents do not get a fair chance at running in my opinion.

I’d like to get more involved and I’d like the community to get to know me better as well.

Tell us how you found out about Eden?
I found and have been following EOS closely since 2017 and am a hobbyist game developer currently working on a game built on EOSIO. I’m familiar with More Equal Animals and am excited about being a part of this new type of governance.

What is it about the community’s vision/values/ideas attracted you?
I feel that EOS offers a unique balance in the 3 aspects of the blockchain trilemma: decentralization, scalability, and security. I like that EOS is a green field for new ideas to become standards.

Why do you want to become a member?
Eventually I may want to seek funding to build out the game I’m building, but my immediate goal is to learn more about how it works in practice and potentially connect with like-minded people.

In what way do you see yourself contributing to the community?
I’m a web developer by trade, and have familiarity with EOSIO from my hobby project, so I could help answer some practical questions beginners might have or direct people to resources that help me most while building my project. I’d be open to contributing toward open source projects if they interest me.

If you were to become an elected Eden Genesis representative with a budget, how would you spend that budget?
I’d delegate my budget to the others. I feel there are plenty of great ideas which just need funding to become amazing community resources (ex. eospowerup.io).

Hello Eden, my name is Jorge Murillo (Telegram: murillojorge). I’m a UI/UX designer with EOS Costa Rica. I’ve worked on the Internet since the end of the 90s and have had the privilege of seeing this weird and beautiful technology evolve. Right now blockchain is the head of the spear and I have high hopes for it (us?) to solve many problems that plague human livelihood.

  • Tell us how you found out about eden?
    I’ve been paying close attention to EOS and working on EOSIO design and development full-time since 2018.

  • What is it about the community’s vision/values/ideas attracted you?
    I believe a hands-on, cooperative and decentralized community is the only way to fix the governance issues that restrict the EOS Mainnet from growing as it should.

  • Why do you want to become a member?
    Although I generally behave like an observant outsider, I think it’s time we all cooperate actively to fix what’s broken.

  • In what way do you see yourself contributing to the community?
    As part of the EOS Costa Rica team I’ve worked on many EOSIO based projects. At this moment we’re paying special attention on improving EOS Rate, a visual and easy way to get to know, rate and vote for block producers. I’m also interested in supporting on-boarding of new users to the technology and to the network.

  • If you were to become an elected Eden Genesis representative with a budget, how would you spend that budget?
    Rebranding.

Hello —i am new to Eden but not new to EOS —have been an active hodler for 4 years…and have been adding recently—i am excited about Bullish and Voice (have joined both programs) and would love to be a bigger part of the Eden community— as my day (and night job/career) -i am a wealth manager for private clients (over 21 years at the firm i am the managing partner and founder at…) and over 30 years in finance (PIMCO, Mellon, etc…)—-hold multiple licenses so do come at things with that background and perspective…but always learning…and hopefully only making new mistakes!

    I am collaborator at EOS Costa Rica working as security researcher and Devops. My organization is very active and respected in the EOS community and we are aware of Eden since the beginning.

  • What is it about the community’s vision/values/ideas attracted you?
    I want to explore technological solutions for the democracy problems that affect society Today.

  • Why do you want to become a member?
    I want to learn and contribute to new ways of applying democratic decisions by using blockchain technologies.

  • In what way do you see yourself contributing to the community?
    I am a blockchain and security expert so I could contribute to the technology that makes Eden possible.

    I would sped time checking security aspects of the systems and proposing improvements that enhance the system architecture and implementation.

Hello I’m Brian, I began investing into EOS ($8) around 3/18 several months after learning about Bitcoin. I didn’t know anything about investing so I had no clue that I was beginning to invest at the start of the 3 year bear market. Over 3+ years I have accumulated more EOS than I ever thought possible but back in 12/20 I was still down 14k. I sold all my EOS for GRT on a whim & it panned out as about a month later I was able to buy back into EOS & instead of being down I am now up over 60% for entire portfolio. I decided to write about investing in crypto here because that’s really all I do or know about in crypto. I’m not a techie in crypto, computers or anything like that. Since about 19 years old my study in life has been about holistic healing & spiritual understanding. I purposely have not chased money so that I could focus on physical, mental, emotional, spiritual growth & healing. I just needed to believe that one day I would discover a big money opportunity so that I didn’t have to get old poor. :slight_smile: I believe this is that opportunity & I have been all in for 3+ years. I don’t know right now what I can add to the community but just like everything in my life if I just step into something, I believe that will emerge and be more clear in time. For now I am excited to be a part of a community that is not only interested in wealth but also community health. I have followed Dan closely for 3+ years now & even though I am the opposite of a techie guy, I have a lot in common with Dan as far as what it might look like to form a community. This is something that I have thought very much of for quite awhile especially from a foundational point of view & what I have thought about in regards to this is quite similar to Dan’s perspective as well. I want to jump right in however I also am slow to be too active so that I can understand more and then be active with real positive purpose and confidence. I do want to join ASAP so I can begin that journey. Thanks, Brian.
