My name is Nick, and I am inspired by the idea of the community Eden is striving toward. I came across some of the literature early this year while researching investments, but had not looked deeper until recently. After finding and listening to the More Equal Animals book read aloud on YouTube during my commutes, I am confident in my desire to participate, and wish to contribute where I can, to help achieve the goals laid out for the community.
The premise and solutions described in the book articulated many of the conclusions I have drawn over my years of watching communities grow and extinguish. I do regret not actively engaging as much as I could have, and wish to grow past my apprehensions with interacting.
I have a broad skill set and am casually experienced in many things, but most of my professional career has been spent managing and coordinating document productions for civil and criminal litigation. To that extent, if i were to receive a budget, part of that could be used for compiling & maintaining an open, exhaustive index of global case law with which we can use to reference past outcomes and identify injustice in existing systems for a more constructive way forward without repeating past mistakes.

Tell us how you found out about Eden?
EOS genesis member. Discovered STEEM/Steemit as I was researching alternative blockchain use cases for my CompSci thesis. The DPoS consensus algorithm piqued my interest and I went down that rabbit hole. Currently reading Dan Larimer’s new book. I closely follow happenings on Reddit, Twitter, and Telegram.
What is it about the community’s vision/values/ideas that attracted you?
Since the early Bitcoin days, my primary focus on blockchain technology has been how it relates to “Democracy 2.0” and solving corruption through increased transparency.
I find that the most intelligent people aren’t preoccupied with gambling their life savings, but would rather deal with how the tech might be used to solve problems, so naturally, I am drawn to this crowd of freethinkers.
Why do you want to become a member?
Because I want the world to change in my lifetime. I do not and have never been able to fit into the current paradigm of politics. I despise tribalism and long for a different format. The current system of party politics reinforces our cognitive biases and creates segregation. Democracy 2.0 here we come.
In what way do you see yourself contributing to the community?
I have assisted a couple of dApp projects with ideas and front-end work. As I progress through the courses on training.eos.io I will likely also get further involved with dApp dev. Currently getting involved with the backend IT security of a small country and their financial systems, so I might be able to transfer knowledge between these domains and see what we can do to enhance tax systems.
If you were to become an elected Eden Genesis representative with a budget, how would you spend that budget?
Having researched dApps in the space for numerous years, I have seen projects come and go. I am currently more in tune with navigating the ecosystem than newcomers and I believe I can distinguish better between fool’s gold and dApps with proper teams and realistic roadmaps. I have no intention of making it easy to get funding, let me put it that way. I want teams to prove themselves.
Whilst I already have certain projects in mind, no one is getting a penny until they establish a proper roadmap, transparency, etc. I intend to make my own little framework for judging dApps, this might as well be a collaborative project?

Tell us how you found out about Eden?
I discovered EOS in 2018 and I liked the fundamentals behind it and how it was more superior than other blockchains. Then, I found out about Eden on EOS from following Dan Larimer on Twitter and on Telegram groups when he published his book “More Equal Animals”. It piqued my interest and I bought a physical copy of the book and kept following Eden progress closely on Eden telegram group and watched some videos of the first mock trial election.
What is it about the community’s vision/values/ideas that attracted you?
Well, Dan’s vision on human nature and democracy in his book match a lot of my ideals and beliefs. So far, democratic processes in the western world are really flawed and we can see their consequences in the society nowadays. His new proposed Eden system eliminates rigged voting or any manipulations. it empowers the individuals equally and gives everyone an opportunity to give an impact. A community from by and for the people.
Why do you want to become a member?

In what way do you see yourself contributing to the community?
I am a petroleum engineer by career. However, my passion is with cryptocurrencies and especially EOS. I am part of EOS Arabia block producer team. I want to spread the word about EOS in the Arab community and see it gain more popularity like Bitcoin and Ethereum and other top cap coins.
If you were to become an elected Eden Genesis representative with a budget, how would you spend that budget?
I would love to translate More Equal Animals book to Arabic and print it and publish it for the Arab community. Hosting various EOS Hackathons, EOS Seminars etc.

My name is Joseph Lafaele and I would like to be part of EDEN, I am a genesis account holder and for the most part have been active in the EOS reddit page (Sly-Raccoon) and more recently EOS related twitter pages (@RaccoonRalph7).

I have been following EOS since its ICO in 2017, and have been following Daniel Larimer’s works since 2019. I have yet to read the entirety of his new book “More Equal Animals” but plan on in due time.
I am a logistics officer for a government subsidized organization in Australia, and have very little technical expertise and do not have any experience in programming.
What I do possess is the ability to utilize the tools provided, the “average Joe” type who can objectively assess tools and or software based on its user interface. I believe this positions my opinion to be helpful for developers as I can somewhat empathize with those who find EOS difficult to use, although I believe that those who hold that opinion consists mostly of tribal crypto traders who are ignorant to EOS.IO technology.
I do not intend on being elected as a representative, however I do hope to participate in the democratic process to help ensure whoever is, can be relied upon to propel EOS in a positive and productive direction.
Hypothetically, If I were elected I would focus the budget on nurturing gaming projects on EOS. As a gaming enthusiast I find that EOS’ tech has not been fully realized. Although projects like Upland and Blankos are making strides in the gaming field, I would like to see more games /metverses with greater gameplay dynamics and an emphasis on play to earn features embedded into EOS main net. Having played and invested into projects like Decentraland on Ethereum, I can confidently say that the issues plaguing Decentraland would be nullified if it were on EOS.

Hi Community -
I work at Intel as a epitaxy films researcher specifically in GaN (good for power efficiency and RF applications). Every 7 years Intel employees get 2 months vacation. In February 2021 I took 1 month of vacation and starting doing research into the global economy and Bitcoin. During this time I discovered many of the problems Dan highlights in his book More Equal Animals. I’ve had libertarian values for as long as I can remember and grew up in a small farming community.
One thing I observed from the small farming community is how they work together to enrich the lives of all members in the community AND how member of the community would be cast out if they damaged their reputation through poor character. I see many parallels with Dan’s vision and the small farming community.
I see Eden as a governance and consensus as a means to solve the long term debt credit cycle which is responsible for the fall of nations; if war doesn’t dissolve a nation first…
I hope to bring value to the Eden community by participating in elections. My strengths are model based problem solving, root cause analysis, critical thinking, abstract thought, and consensus building.
Utilizing these skills I hope to collaborate, coordinate, and facilitate the long term growth of EOS and the EOS community–independent of my position.

I have access to multiple EOS genesis accounts and have tracked and reported on the EOS ecosphere since before the launch of the EOS blockchain. Among other things: In a previous life I use to consult for the USA’s small business administration, as well as founding one of the largest playtesting organizations in the gaming space.
I attended the EOS developer Conference: Dec 2019 EOS Community Conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

I would like to join the Eden community. I joined the EOS project on day one and participated in the EOS Hackathon in London.
I contributed to monstereos (a Tamagotchi and Battle Game for EOS Blockchain).
I am all for open source, sharing knowledge.
I participated in the second trial Election and was elected in the first round. It was a great learning. The 10 EOS will go to hosting a matrix communication and collaboration server (matrix.org) for the Eden community. Hello, about two months ago, I saw media propaganda that eden is about to be established. Later, some Chinese friends were discussing eden. I am a believer in eos, and I believe that the ultra-high technological evolution of eos will bring huge changes to the blockchain and the entire real world in a certain period of time. After I entered the telegram, Mell Pearce recommended me to reply to this post.
I am a believer in EOS and believe in the future development. The emergence of Eden will definitely contribute to the positive development of eos ecology, and I also hope to contribute to Eden. As a holder, you should make a difference.

I’ve been involve with Dan’s work since Bitshares era and just kept following his venture. I understood DPoS consensus then and knew it’s where I want to contribute as an entrepreneur. Since then I’ve been involve in blockchain education and training here in Montreal (CA), especially on DPoS consensus and EOSIO software. Launched Steem/Hive Quebec, EOS Quebec and founded DPoS Institute. Now I’m looking forward to help build the Eden community and bring forward True Democracy as expressed in Dan’s Book – More Equal Animal. I follow a lot of youtuber (colin talk crypto, eos sandiego, zaragast), plus news about crypto and blockchain. Not so hard to find you.
What is it about the community’s vision/values/ideas attracted you?
The fractacl democracy is a new thing, idea and concept that could work in this crypto world. Plus without a community there is nothing; no improvements, ideas and support.

I would like to do give my contribution with my ability and spread our ideas and the EOS blockchain to common people.
In what way do you see yourself contributing to the community?
Translate some contents in Italian( my mother tounge) and maybe help with my ability and knowledge as I am an IT engineer.

Could be strange, but I think that we need to involve more people and explain what is really the blockchain, crypto, nfts and so on. A good marketing, knowledge sharing, onsite or remote meeting in different languages is what we need to expand our community, grow and reach a mass adoption.

I introduce myself my name is Jason, I’m French and I live in France, i’m in my early thirties and I’m employed in electrical and gas energy.
- I knew Eden through a friend of mine who told me about it and who is very interested in blockchain and especially in “EOS”. So I was taken by curiosity and wonder at his speech and I was in turn stung.
- What attracted me to your community is this freedom to want to change the current world of being able to live and express itself in complete freedom although it is increasingly difficult to be able to do so.
- I want to become a member so that I can show people that with little means and coming from a modest background it is possible to do, to accomplish great things and to become a person.
-My goal today and I have already started to do it via several social networks it is my choice to let the French people interested in the blockchain know that EOS and not just a simple cryptocurrency, a simple token but much more than that. I want to open the eyes of the French and French-speaking people to the diversity of EOS.
I have already physically had the opportunity to participate in an eden member election but with my limited English I could not accomplish this mission… I am all equally proud to have been able to participate in this moment the , to be at the side of these people united for the same thing “The freedom of a new world.”

Tell us how you found out about eden?
I started to take a serious interest in crypto-currency since 2017. I truly believe the future of crypto. Bitcoin, which started with the decentralization of finance, and the feasibility of true democracy in EOS. So I’ve been interested in Eden ever since it first appeared, and I’ve been waiting for this moment of writing.
What is it about the community’s vision/values/ideas attracted you?
Bank greed and irresponsible inflation have historically been difficult to solve. Bitcoin provided a fundamental answer to that. And I think EOS can go beyond de-centralization of finance and realize ideals such as true equality and true human rights. I fully support Dan’s ideas.
Why do you want to become a member?
The reason why I fully support Dan’s idea is that it is very similar to my ideal. From an early age, I couldn’t understand why money was guaranteed and published by the King or the Government. Along with the financial revolution that Bitcoin first started, I want to be part of the human rights revolution, the true decentralization revolution with EOS.

I live with my British wife. So I can communicate fully in English even though I am Korean. Korea is a country with a large EOS community compared to its population. As a member of Eden, I will be a bridge that connects and communicates smoothly with the EOS community of Korea. -
I have leadership
I was able to develop various leadership through various group projects. It includes various fields such as publishing, research, planning, budget planning, and architectural design. I know how to lead people because I have a lot of experience. I think I can do enough roles as a member of Eden. -
I have design skills.
Since I majored in architectural design, I can use various computer programs and create various visual publications (ps, ai, etc.). I also developed the ability to explain difficult contents easily with pictures to customers in order to explain the design. I can let more people know about EOS and its communities through this ability.

It’s a very difficult question. The first will be to set the direction for the eos community to move forward. Once the direction is set, i can prioritize where the budget is needed, and then spend the budget.

Hello, and kind greetings! I am James, a 43 y/o single never married tech nerd, skateboarder, BMX enthusiast, Philosopher, electronic music producer, and an information addict. I have an incredible memory, and recall, and an infinite ability to soak up new information with ease and explain to others in a helpful, and considerate manner. I work at a Restaurant and Tavern near Madison Wisconsin, and have actually found the first work place where I have a support system I can depend on there.
I discovered eden on Daniel Lahrimer’s Twitter by chance after doing research on the DAC projects on EOS. I discovered EOS in 2019 after doing a learn and earn on coinbase. In 2020, I was displaced and living in my vehicle during covid, and I started an on chain eos address to experiment with the de-fi, play games to earn nft and token rewards, as well as explore smart contract functions.
I like the fractal democracy ideology of the Eden Genesis Community. It reminds me of the PI mobile mining security graph sharding consensus model that has been utilized there. I am currently taking a eosio training and certification course that I found free for a limited time. I’m really excited to make my own DAC on a testnet for a BMX Bicycle Club that I am trying to build, but I have much bigger vision than that. I can forsee a world where educating our children, and instilling integrity and ethics, as well as providing some motivation for doing those uncool necessities in life where the deliverable, or multisig indicates deliverables that release consesus payments via sc and even potentially would let your 10 year old fight the boss level of level ten of their game once they have delivered their on chain homework to trigger the nft of their graduation certificate that cannot be disputed. I also am a creative sort and I do music production, and some video game design elements which I would like to further develop into a THPS sort of skateboard video game where my brands designs could be imported into the game via a barcode and traded like an nft.
I have hit a bottleneck in my EOSIO training because I am striuggling to run the eos node from WSL Ubuntu on WIN 10 which does not support GUI but I am being patient. If anyone has any pointers I’d appreciate it. I’m a really highly active and spontaneous mental sort so I do have trouble with my focus, but a fractionated attention and direction certainly enhances Individuation.
I would like to become a Community Member because I want to be a source of light in the world, and since I have been spreading the Blockchain Gospel to my less than tech saavy loved ones in the Midwest; there has been a light of a gleam of hope for some way out of the defunct old and decayed system which keeps a person like me right where I am because I am always the best at what I choose to do for my career.
I slowly learn every small detail of what I do and than I have automated, or come up with a feasible way to do so in more than fifty different jobs/carreers that I’ve experienced in my life. All of those empolyers would gladly hire me back as well. I want to be able to just do what I love now, and what is meaningful, and impactful societally so I can persue my first passion. Books. I have 30,000 ebooks that I plan to read and I average anywhere between 8 and 15 non-fiction books every month. Mostly I love Philosophy and Metaphysics. I see Blockchain as a spiritual technology because it mirrors the premise of the Akashic records.
I see myself becoming an elected representative to Eden because in large groups I am hyper-vigilant in making sure to consider all and side on a decision that benefits the smallest and the largest interest. My last name actually translates to “One who considers all and remains Just” in Welsh, and I am a decendant of Ancient Druid Priests Who Probably Helped Set Up Stone Henge with the Drums and the Chanting and dancing.
I really want to meet more likeminded blockchain oriented people and find people who want to make a better more practical, less wasteful world, rather than just day trade until they can sip margarita’s on a sandy beach someday.
As an Elected Eden Genesis Representative with a Budget I would like to initiate a project to convert a building into a Library, and Blockchain Education Center where in Small Joe Case of Budweiser communities like mine there would be a place that people could come, set up wallets, print and store keys, and have a variety of educational speakers and classes going on at regular intervals. Showing people how Blockchain can solve the $15 dollar an hour minimum wage dillemma by cutting fat in the administration and accounting areas is really going to give people like my friend who runs his own carpet cleaning business new hope that he will be able to not merge his business with a corporate entity if and when that time comes.
Very excited to start More Equal Animals, and to discover what it means for democracy. I’m so blessed that I found this project and that in 2009 I stumbled onto the BTC whitepaper after seeing those Zietgeist movies. My mind was looking for an answer and I saw “Digital Gold”, read it and started telling people about it. Now I am trusting my own gut more. Had I got a miner up, and not lost my first mneumonic for a btc wallet that I got a full BTC from a faucet site, I would be typing this with a different view. I am exactly where I am supposed to be, and that is for sure.
