Utilize Anchor + Ledger while retaining my genesis wallet?

I have a genesis wallet that’s held my EOS ever since I registered it. I’ve got a ledger and want to utilize it for my Eos. I’ve been told Anchor is the best EOS wallet and that there’s a way to achieve that combo.

There is - it’s just not the most simple process at the moment. Once the genesis account is converted to be controlled by the Ledger, the use is fairly simple, but getting there is the challenge.

Using Anchor to change permissions of an existing EOSIO account to use a Ledger
