Hello again EOS,
The second trial mock Eden election top level of representatives (for now titled “The Board”) had our second Board meeting this afternoon. In our continued efforts of transparency you will find below the notes from this meeting as well as a link to the unedited video capture for your review. This is the second meeting of many from this Board as we embark on our mission to deliver maximum value and growth to Eden and EOS.
Please note that from this meeting we have polished our “holacracy” framework for Eden on EOS and provided a series of roles that various community members (you) can sign up for to support these efforts. The links to both of those files are as follows:

Ami – EOS in a Box
Notes from last meeting:
- Ami will write a draft with estimates of timeline, broken into different parts. People can help via what parts are available. Devs can help. Will do a github project.
- Aim to publish framework this week.
- Suggested seek feedback from Aarin H, Aaron C, and Daniel Keys (or delegate) on any concerns issues from using WebAuthN
- Set up TG group to discuss.
Updates:
- Ami published a plan on the new website eosinabox.com, divided into 4 parts, 2 weeks per part. This is an initial draft, so it may change over the next 2 months. He is currently in the first 2 week section.
- EOSinabox.com - a bit of a blog right now.
- Some intense communications in Telegram. Ami will make a summary of these points, and how he can handle them. He will post these soon, in a nice summary at eosinabox.com.
- The plan will change of course, but you can follow it on github or the site. Also people can reach out to Ami directly in TG. @amiheines.
- Note we’ve set up Clickup for internal use only for now. There are some tasks more related to the CEO bigger picture ideas. We’ll see about using this more broadly or just sticking with Slack for now.
Felix – Creator Now Human Faucet
Notes from last meeting:
- Working on vid asap for the Creator Now community, to see who’s interested in sponsorships from Eden On EOS.
- Will set up a Zoom call with those interested about this to answer calls and get them going.
- Felix will first train these creators on how to open their own EOS wallet.
- Looking to have some content created in a week or at most 2. They have weekly video submission goals so this fits within that.
Updates:
- Content from Creators, will be delayed. Initial vid from Felix did go up (see it here). He has received some responses and back and forth. Felix sent some messages to those that filled out his survey from before. Some responses are people backing out due to hesitance with crypto. They are asking about how much the funds will be. Noticing some of the smaller creators are excited…don’t want to blow the funds too soon especially on the smaller creators. Would like to ensure some of the better creators also participate since they have good content. The smaller creators could model off of these better ones. Vids should be 5-10 mins in length. Opening up the method they do the challenge beyond just getting a meal paid in EOS. Open to other ways. Main thing is to showcase the use of EOS, setting up and account etc…Worst case, see how many creators set up an EOS account and create content on that. May need to juice up from the 10 EOS to get the better creators.
- Total EOS for this project due to contributions are now up to (110 from Randall R, 110 from Mark Scheer) 394 EOS for this so far.
- Wants to target his efforts to the more established leaders in the Creator Now community.
- Felix is hesitant to spend time on peeps with only 20 subs for example. If the goal is to promote EOS then he should focus his energy on those with more subs who can then reach a wider audience.
- Keeping with the idea of a faucet, the more people can be reached the better via the small amounts of funds.
- Going to focus on a couple creators…and branch out from there based on their success. Could do a bit of a contest.
- Felix has access to the guys that work with Airack (sp) so there is an opportunity to work with him/his managers on a bigger deal for advertising.
Chris – Eden Member’s Approved Proxy
Notes from last meeting:
- Over the next month we will reach out to BPs to extend a hand.
- We will present this info to the Eden Membership so they may have appropriate info to rate/vote the BPs.
- Proxy will be established once sufficient effort has gone into making contact with the BPs and presented to the Eden community. Anticipated to start in a month.
Updates:
- Chris has planned out his attack and set up milestones to be completed to actualize the goal of starting the proxies in about 3 weeks (mid Aug)
- Will start to reach out to BPs for discovery sessions this week.
- Had a good conversation with Edgar from EOS Costa Rica on the eosrate.io tool and some slight modifications to have it deliver a couple extra features that will be very useful to the proxy.
- EOS Costa Rica will be the first BP to have it’s spotlight video interview done.
- Chris will be focusing more on this in the coming days now that the Eden on EOS framework is set up.
Josh – Supporting various people and projects. i.e., Bootstrapping of the EOS Support Initiative
Notes from last meeting:
- Josh to donate his 110 EOS to this account…symbolic gesture.
- Josh will work with this focus group to set up this service and support made available.
Updates:
- EOS has not been received yet.
- EOS Support account (EOS) is ready. A landing page is being worked on for eossupport.io site. Randall is setting up various accounts (Calendly, Intercom). Intercom includes various languages (i.e., Korean, Chinese). Setting up for future Eden on EOS communities that are likely to exist.
- Conversations going on to bring in support reps. No ETA as of yet. Might have a better idea for next week.
- The goal is to get this up and running ASAP…even in a week or two an MVP will be running.
Framework development for Eden on EOS:
Chris and Josh presented an updated framework with various roles created.
We reviewed the next steps with this initiative:
- Present document to the community
- Request interested community members sign up for Slack with mention of what role they would like to help with.
- Chris to create introduction video of framework to encourage understanding and participation.
- Once teams are formed, kick off meetings for each group will planned to initiate progress.
- Regular meetings will be scheduled to maintain team alignment, track progress, and provide support from the Board where needed.
Thanks as always for your support of our efforts. We are still of course very open to feedback (ideally of the constructive type) so we can hash out the optimal framework and organizational structure for Eden on EOS to succeed well into the future.
We will continue with these weekly board meetings and updates into the coming weeks. We also plan to establish and schedule an updated set of community Zoom calls which we’ve mostly put on hold for now after the recent election. Please stay tuned for those.
