Hi, I have just downloaded Anchor wallet to connect it to my WAX Cloud wallet. After installation and setting a password, I notice that it doesn’t have the “Home” or “Tools” buttons on the left hand side which I need to configure the key pairing. I have installed to my desktop running Windows 10. Any help will be gratefully received.

It’s hidden by default, until you setup your first account.
You can enable it by going into Settings (gear icon in the top right) and changing the “Show Advanced User Options” item there.
