Invalid Private Key error

I tried to do a purchase and transfer with anchor wallet and the "invalid Private Key’ error keeps prompting up.

Using version 1.1.8 on Mac iOS - Big Sur 11.4

Same here. Anchor version 1.2.4 on Ubuntu 20.04. Locking the wallet and unlocking it again helped me out.

Few things:

  • Try upgrading to 1.2.4, as 1.1.8 is pretty old and we may have fixed some bugs surrounding this.
  • If that doesn’t work, make sure you have your private keys backed up, then remove the account and add it to the wallet again. This tends to fix bugs.
