EOS transaction declares authority but does not have signatures for it

Hi All,

I hope somebody can help. I separated my EOS active and owner key using eos authority

I then proceeded to try stake my EOS but I got this error on EOS authority while trying to use Anchor Desktop.

Can anyone tell me why I am getting this error? I can see in EOS Authority my active and owner keys are separated and this is also reflected in Anchor. I tried removing them in Anchor and re-adding them but this has not worked.

Transaction failed - transaction declares authority ‘{“actor”:"",“permission”:“active”}’, but does not have signatures for it.

Thanks in advance

When re-adding the account, are you using the “Import via Private Key” method where you paste the key in and it finds the account, or are you manually importing it through the advanced option?

One other thing I’d recommend is to make sure you’re on the latest version. We’ve fixed a few bugs involving keys recently and we’re up to version 1.2.3 now.
