Consortium was recently fixed and can now facilitate polling for the EOS community.
You can create a poll and ask anything that is of interest to you. All the votes/polls are stored on the mainnet.
Your voting power is the sum of your EOS that is liquid, in CPU/NET and REX.
Quadratic voting is used to decrease the voting power of whales.
Accounts can be whitelisted on Consortium. As such, once Eden is launched, a separate governance community could be set up, where only the members would be eligible to vote. It is also possible to customize the voting power 1 Account 1 Vote or based on your membership Level.
Polling on this forum is great but maybe an on-chain solution would be better @bytemaster?
