Current status of the project: The people involved in the project have basically expressed a clear intention now, but lack start-up funding. We hope we can get support from EOS Foundation, Eden and the community. Our goal is to make EOS great again, to change the hostile wind in the EOS Chinese community, to reacquaint EOS, and to make EOS take off again.

I like your proposal and agree this type of project is certainly needed. Three questions on this:
- How much funding are you looking for to develop V1.0?
- Would it be better to focus for now on just the web version (so skip, iOS, Android, and WeChat) so this can be rolled out with less funding? Then when you have a minimum viable product with the web version, you could go after more funding via Pomelo to develop and deploy this on the other platforms.
- How difficult would it be to translate the content created here into English or other languages? This would require more funding I assume, and if so can you estimate this?

Hi. I would especially highlight the possibilitys EOS and eos.io offers and its efficency in doing so. (when marketing) Its a playground that never existed before and “old” buisness can be build ontop to make their ifra more eficiant, but also it creates room for concepts not possible within the restrains the internet offers atm. I think hearing this will get people to asking the YYYY question and then you have a userbase

In the V1.0 version of EOS Daily, we will consider launching both the web version and the App version (we may give priority to the Android App initially). The reason for this is that most Chinese users need to rely on the push function of their cell phones to receive news, which cannot be achieved with only the web version. So while the web version is less expensive to develop, the App version is indispensable.
Of course, if the financial situation allows, we will also launch the wechat mini-app version at the same time.
Development schedule and funding requirements (web and Android version): Development is expected to take at least 5-7 weeks . The cost is expected to be $65,000 , which mainly includes UI, technical development, marketing and promotion, operation and incentives for community information gathering staff and forum administrators (these staff will be recruited from the Chinese community)
The iOS version and the WeChat mini-app version are expected to take 3 weeks to develop at an estimated cost of $20,000.
Whether or not to develop a non-Chinese version needs to be determined by the development of the product. If the product is running well in the Chinese community, we will start the development of multilingual version (relevant translators will also be recruited from the community)
If the project runs well, we expect the project itself to be profitable at a later stage. The main sources of income include: project sponsorship, advertising, etc.
Of course, this is just some very rough ideas, many details need to wait for the V1.0 version to be launched before we can determine.

Thank you for the extra details on your proposal. Considering the amount of funding that will be available in this coming Eden election on Oct 9, you might want to consider looking at Pomelo once it’s live to further look for funding to make this happen. The funding available in this coming Eden election may not be enough to cover the costs you’ve laid out here, but certainly could cover some of this. In light of that you may want to consider modifying your proposal to show stages of funding and what could be produced. IE with $5k you’d do X, and with $10k you’d do Y…and so on. Its not required, but an idea. The max prize for the coming Eden election will be roughly 4.5k EOS per month so over a few months would get you to your goal. The challenge is the winner is randomly chosen. So if a representative of your project only makes it to the last round, but isn’t randomly selected, what would they do with only ~400-500 EOS per month?
